Beloved indie band Trust Fund, led by Ellis Jones, release a new single, 'capital', featuring vocals from folk group Radiant Heart. The new single is the second song released since project came to a head in 2018 when they announced Breaking The Backline would be the last Trust Fund record, leaving behind an impressive and immersive back catalogue of emotional, fuzzy lo-fi pop music. In the years off Ellis has kept busy publishing a book -DIY Music And The Politics Of Social Media- becoming a professor and occasionally playing in a few other groups, however this is a welcome return to the Trust Fund moniker. 'capital' is a gentle, folky track, minimally arranged with softly picked guitar, spare piano and the duetting voices of Ellis and Celia; the kind of subtly intricate songwriting that characterised the project. -Toby Evans-Jesra
